| The layout of The Burn How is refreshingly different to most other hotels.
In the main house you will find the reception area, The Burn How Restaurant and the residents’ lounge and bar, whereas all of the hotel’s bedrooms are located outside the main building within our private grounds.
Situated in Windermere, overlooking Queens Park, Laurel Cottage has stylish rooms which all come with an MP3 player, a DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities. Wi-Fi is free.
The hotel is set in a small Victorian house built of local stone in the 1890s; it has been modernised to offer up-to-date comforts, but has retained its original character.
It is 5 minutes away from Windermere rail and bus station and is an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District. It is also a short stroll from the village which has restaurants, cafés and shops.
