| The layout of The Burn How is refreshingly different to most other hotels.
In the main house you will find the reception area, The Burn How Restaurant and the residents’ lounge and bar, whereas all of the hotel’s bedrooms are located outside the main building within our private grounds.
1 Park Road is a tranquil, luxury guest house located a 2-minute walk from Windermere town centre. Rooms are spacious and modern and all have fresh coffee.
Rooms also offer hot chocolate, a variety of Fair Trade teas and fresh milk. The en suite showers have White Company soaps and shampoos.
French, Italian and Welsh are spoken at 1 Park Road. Personal services are available, such as pickups from the train station which is 10 minutes away. Packed lunches and hampers are also available.
There are many beautiful walks around the property; there is even a treasure hunt on one of them. Good local restaurants and bars can be found in the area.
