In the main house you will find the reception area, The Burn How Restaurant and the residents’ lounge and bar, whereas all of the hotel’s bedrooms are located outside the main building within our private grounds.

The Hideaway is a 30-minute walk from Bowness, and various local walks to Lake Windermere itself and other destinations, start from Windermere village. By car, Ambleside is a 10-minute drive away, and Kendal is 15 minutes away.
