The hilltop lounge with its sunny aspect overlooks the lawns with a garden door that opens up onto the terrace. And as the evening descends, relax in the bar lounge in front of the log fire and enjoy the tipple of your choice from the well stocked bar, whether it be a glass of local beer or a flute of fine champagne.
Leisure Facilities - A small heated indoor pool, sauna and fitness room are available. There is also the chance for guests to unwind with a massage, but it is best to book in advance.

In the heart of the Lake District, Borwick Lodge is a well-equipped, 17th-century country house set in 3 acres of gardens, with views of the lakes and mountains.
The cottage features 7 bedrooms, 6 of them have a private bathroom and are located on the first floor. Every room is decorated in warm, inviting colours and fabrics, and there is a hairdryer in each of them.
Downstairs, guests can enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 lounges and a dining area. There is also a games room and 2 shower rooms, and on sunny days, the sun terrace is perfect for those who want to relax. Wi-Fi is free at the cottage.
The Borwick is just under a miles’ walk from the Drunken Duck pub, which serves award-winning food, and Windermere is just a 15-minute drive from the lodge.
