| The layout of The Burn How is refreshingly different to most other hotels.
In the main house you will find the reception area, The Burn How Restaurant and the residents’ lounge and bar, whereas all of the hotel’s bedrooms are located outside the main building within our private grounds.
Meadfoot Guesthouse is just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Windermere. It offers large rooms with garden views, free parking, traditional breakfasts and free use of Parklands Country Club.
Rooms at the Meadfoot have free Wi-Fi, TV’s and central heating. They also include baths, showers and tea/coffee making facilities.
The dining room has patio doors leading onto a balcony with spectacular garden views. Sometimes deer can be seen roaming around the hotel’s grounds.
5 minutes away in Bowness is Parklands leisure club. Guests have free use of its facilities which include a pool, sauna, gym and steam room.
Windermere Train Station is a 5-minute drive from the guesthouse. The town centre has a good selection of shops, restaurants and cafes.
